Core Four Assembly Video |
1A: Promote, support, and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness
Through the help of a few of my student leaders, I was able to create this video for an all school assembly. In the previous year we made a change from the Core Four to "ROAR" as our school behavior expectation. It did not workout well. In this video, I utilized students to help come up with the words, music, and transitions as well as many other components of the actual assembly.

1B: Engage students in exploring real-world issues and solving authentic problems using digital tools and resources.
As a Behavior Specialist, I am always looking for ways to encourage my students to think about success as something they can achieve. With that in mind, I created a TED Ed lesson which allows students to interact with the content as well as collaborate and reflect on what they have learned and how they will apply it.

1C: Promote student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes.
This assignment gave students the opportunity to collaborate with their groups while creating a Thinglink on the phase of matter they were assigned. The Thinglinks were created by referencing the Blendspace and locating other online help resources.
